Feature Story:
Another Weisz Move for Westchester County Office Market
With his purchase of the 625,000-square-foot Altria Building on Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook for $40 million, Robert Weisz has burnished his reputation as one of the region’s most innovative developers. The Altria building represents nearly 2% of Westchester's total office market. The large size of the property is viewed as a strong challenge for any new owner but Weisz has turned around numerous properties in Westchester that had been vacant for years. For example, his company - RPW Group - revived 75 South Broadway and 120 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains, paying property taxes and providing jobs.
