How to Get Pre-Qualified

You can become eligible to bid on a variety of Westchester County projects and contracts (which do not involve New York state or federal funding) by becoming a pre-qualified minority- or women-owned business with Westchester County.

To become pre-qualified, please download the pre-qualification form, answer all questions and have the form duly notarized. Please return your completed and notarized application to:

Minority & Women Owned Business Resources
Office of the County Executive
148 Martine Avenue, Room 904
White Plains, NY 10601

Once your completed and notarized pre-qualification application is received by Westchester County, your firm will be recognized as a pre-qualified minority- or women-owned business in Westchester County.

If your business is a state or federally certified minority- or women-owned business, then you are already a pre-qualified minority- or women-owned business in Westchester County.
