Office of Economic Development continually strives to ensure that local companies,
whether longtime businesses or recent relocations, find a climate in Westchester
County where businesses can continue to thrive.
The Office of Economic Development works closely with a broad
team of local, county, state and federal agencies, organizations and authorities
to provide a wide variety of business assistance programs
for companies interested in staying, expanding or relocating in Westchester
County. Along with its many partners, including the Empire
State Development Corporation (ESDC), Westchester Countys Office of
Economic Development offers a broad package of professional services which include

The county is also pursuing initiatives (such as videoconferences with China, Germany and Italy) to encourage local businesses to look into global markets. Previously, the County Executive traveled to Italy to inaugurate the opening of a "Westchester Desk".
