Westchester County has an inventory of more than 265 buildings,
totaling more than 32 million square feet of available space, including:

- Large office buildings designed for corporations and headquarters
offices.
- Asking rents for office space in the County are very competitive
to neighboring locations, and well below those of southern Fairfield County.
- Multi-tenanted buildings for medium-size firms or smaller companies.
- Flexspace for light manufacturing or research and development
space.
- Warehouse space as well as laboratory and research space.

From 1997 through third quarter 2007 the vacancy rate
in the White Plains Central Business District dropped from 28.0% to 12.08%. At the same time, the average price per square foot in the Countyh as increased from $21.43 to $28.78, while the rents in the White Plains Central Business District has increased to $35.70.
